For those of us who have broken free from the cycle of perpetual motion dictated by society at large, I find moving with the seasons a comfort and even a remedy for certain conditions such as Season affected disorder. Not to say there aren't real challenges with S.A.D., but when I take the winter to pause, reflect, and move slowly, I find myself flipping the script and longing for those cold dreary days that keep me indoors. Summer suddenly seems so... busy. Always in a hurry to catch every ray of sunshine, to not waste the warm weather days - it's a very yang season.

As a self-proclaimed introvert, it seems I have a natural proclivity for winter.

But what happens when the seasons go through transition -  when you feel the energy of Imbolc running underground - but nothing seems to break through?

When the days grow brighter, but winter's claws are sunk deep into the ground? These moments still challenge me.
